Hi! I am Marika… I like tea and flowers, the Sun and chocolate, music and silence. In the summer I am allured by the scent of sea salt, the taste of strawberries and never-ending evenings, surrounded by the smell of jasmine, and in the autumn I fall head over heels in love with the golden gleam of sunshine falling on the amber maple leaves. In the spring my thoughts are occupied by the blooming lilac and waking birds twittering, whereas in the winter I do not part with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book. Travelling is my passion and I would love to share it with you here. I believe that travels are not only a destination, but a process that is able to give us and teach us something exceptional which we cannot be taught at school. When it comes to me, travelling lets me not only learn about different cultures and traditions, but also gives me the opportunity to look at the world from a totaly different perspective of which existence I had not known several years ago. When it comes to me, it all gives me the opportunity to catch a new, different perception of various issues, it developes in me opinions of many important topics, makes me more careful, more aware and more present person who is able to appreciate little things of our everyday life.
